The Irish surname Mullan (and its variations) originates from before 1000AD from the Irish name "O'Madain" meaning the "descendent of the shaved crown of the head i.e. a monk".
My cousin and I are traveling to Ireland in Sept. 2018 and would like to visit where our family originated. Could anyone help with that. Our family name is Mullins.
